Michael Jackson...

I can't believe I'm posting about Michael Jackson... but with his death really is the end of an amazing Era. I'm a country girl, but I think everyone likes some of his music at one time or another. He was one crazy guy, but I can't help feeling a little bad for the way he grew up. Either way it is a historic time and worth posting about.

Fish Farm

This las weekend we took the kids to a fish farm and they had a great time catching fish. They weren't to sure about eating it, but they finally tried it and liked it.

Grandpa's Turtle Farm...

My parents have had turtles in their back yard pond for several years now. There has been some trouble... one got caught in the yard and died, one went missing a few years back, we assumed it was dead. They found one in the road and put it in the pond and it disappeared a couple days later.... But there has been one that has stuck around. We all love trying to find him, but he hides a lot. Anyway, a week or so ago my mom found something in the pond and had to catch it to prove to everyone that it was indeed a baby red slider turtle about the size of a quarter. After that they started looking around and have found what we think is about 7 baby turtles in all. I have to say, they are really darn cute! Now, even more time is being spent around the pond than before in hopes of spotting a baby turtle that we can get out and play with. Thanks for sharing your Turtle Farm with us Grandpa and Grandma!
